Spring Creek COA

Spring Creek is a high priority management unit. An improved barrier is being constructed on the creek and spikedace stockings are planned. In May 2014, AZGFD observed a northern Mexican gartersnake while conducting fish surveys. This is the first confirmed sighting of northern Mexican gartersnake in Spring Creek since 1986. Narrow-headed gartersnakes may be present but have not been detected yet.
