Arizona Wildlife Conservation Strategy

Virgin River (North Creek-Virgin River) COA

Virgin River (North Creek-Virgin River) should be managed for self-sustaining native fish populations. Native fish species management, conservation, and recovery will be in partnership with the BLM, USFWS, and other partners. Actions related to the management, conservation, and recovery of native fish species will be mostly driven by existing conservation and recovery plans. Virgin (desert) springsnail populations occur along the Virgin River around Littlefield and at the southern end of the Virgin River Gorge along riverside seeps and springs.
