Verde River - Hell Canyon to TAPCO Diversion COA

This is a high priority management unit for native fish including roundtail chub, spikedace, loach minnow, Sonora sucker, and desert sucker. The potential for a fish barrier exists at Hell Canyon, while an existing diversion dam at TAPCO presently acts as a fish barrier in the mainstream Verde River. Beginning in January 2014, fishing regulations prohibited take of roundtail chub in this management unit.
