Silver Creek (Sycamore Creek-Agua Fria River) COA

The Silver Creek management unit will continue to be managed for self-sustaining populations of native aquatic species including roundtail chub, longfin dace, Sonora mud turtle, and lowland leopard frog. Habitat will be evaluated and if deemed suitable, Gila topminnow will be stocked. Sediment washed into the stream after the Cave Creek Complex Fire should be dredged out in areas near the diversion dam to allow for continued occupation by the native fish species.
