Santa Cruz River Headwaters to International Border COA

This reach of the Santa Cruz River was historically occupied by an assemblage of native species including Gila topminnow and roundtail chub. Invasion of non-native fishes (e.g. western mosquitofish, green sunfish, largemouth bass) led to the decline of most native fish species. Ongoing management includes occasional surveys.
