Arizona Wildlife Conservation Strategy

Raspberry Creek (Upper Blue River) COA

Raspberry Creek will be managed for self-sustaining populations of native fish including native sport fish Gila trout. Raspberry Creek was identified as a restoration stream in the Gila Trout Recovery Plan. Gila Trout will be stocked above the barrier as necessary to maintain the population. Loach minnow may be stocked into appropriate habitat above or below the barrier falls. The lower portion of the stream is intermittently contiguous with the Blue River, and so will continue to be managed for the same suite of native fishes present in the Blue River.
