Nutrioso Creek upper - Hulsey Creek confluence to headwaters and tributaries COA

Nutrioso Creek from upstream of Hulsey Creek to the headwaters will be managed primarily for the benefit of wild self-sustaining native fish populations. This management unit includes the tributaries of Hulsey Creek, Paddy Creek, Colter Creek, Red Hole Draw; all of which are known to contain some quantity of flowing water year-round. The only fish currently present are wild hybrid rainbow trout and low numbers of speckled dace. The desired outcome would be to manage these systems of tributaries as self-sustaining native fish populations of Apache trout and speckled dace. It is important to manage this system to avoid conflicts with downstream Little Colorado spinedace Populations. Water temperatures and flow regimes make it prudent to manage this Nutrioso Creek as separate portions.
