Little Colorado River - Diversion Dam near Hwy 61 COA

The Little Colorado River from the 61 Road Diversion Dam upstream to the Lyman Lake Dam will be managed for the benefit of native self-sustaining fish populations of Little Colorado spinedace, bluehead sucker, Little Colorado sucker, and speckled dace. All of which are currently believed to be present. Much of this management unit runs through private land and poses associated management implications. One of the few known relict populations of northern leopard frogs in Arizona exists immediately downstream of Lyman Lake.
