Lanphier Canyon (Upper Blue River) COA

Lanphier Canyon will be managed primarily for self-sustaining populations of native fish, and secondarily as a recreational trout fishery. Lanphier Canyon was identified as a recovery stream in the Gila Trout Recovery Plan. Gila trout will be stocked to eventually replace non-native brown trout after a fish barrier is constructed and the non-native brown trout are eradicated.
