Lake Sierra Blanca (Upper Black River) COA

Lake Sierra Blanca is a shallow reservoir along an unnamed tributary to Boneyard Creek and was formerly stocked with rainbow trout. It is no longer stocked and no longer believed to contain any fish other than fathead minnow. It was an unsuccessful reintroduction site for Chiricahua leopard frog. It is currently managed with no emphasis but may be evaluated to serve as a native fish refugia. There is no intent to re-estalish a sportfishery.
