Houston Creek (Rye Creek-Tonto Creek) COA

Houston Creek contains a population of longfin dace upstream of a natural barrier. The stream has large deep pools (>2m) that could support roundtail chub. Numerous surveys have been conducted in Houston Creek over a range of flows and the stream seems to have roundtail chub habitat in all seasons. The stream does contain green sunfish and red shiner but they are confined to the lower 0.5 km below a natural barrier.
