Haigler Creek (Haigler Creek - Tonto Creek) COA

Haigler Creek is currently split into three management areas. The upper section from the confluence of Colcord Canyon downstream to the Gillette Ranch is currently managed as a Coldwater Sportfish - wildfish fishery for rainbow trout. However, this section is proposed for renovation for Gila trout and other native species. The section from Gillette Ranch downstream to a natural waterfall downstream of Alderwood Campground is managed for an intensive-use rainbow trout fishery. The section from below the waterfall downstream to the Tonto Creek confluence is managed for native aquatic species management, primarily Gila trout.
