Arizona Wildlife Conservation Strategy

Coleman Creek (Upper Blue River) COA

The Coleman Creek drainage upstream of the waterfall will be managed as native sportfishery featuring self-sustaining populations of Gila trout. Gila trout will be stocked as needed to meet recovery and conservation goals. Unsurveyed portions of the drainage should be surveyed, to determine if they have management potential for Gila trout and other native fish species found in the Blue River, including speckled dace, longfin dace and desert sucker.
