Arizona Wildlife Conservation Strategy

Chitty Creek COA

Chitty Creek upstream of the waterfall will be managed to maintain a self-sustaining population of native Gila trout, once habitat conditions improve to allow for re-establishment of trout. Habitat was greatly altered after the Wallow Fire. The lower portions of the stream will be managed for self-sustaining populations of speckled dace, longfin dace, and desert sucker.
