Chase Creek is currently managed for a self-sustaining recovery population of Gila trout. Gila trout were first introduced in Chase Creek in 2017 following the successful removal of a small rainbow trout population. Future management efforts for Chase Creek will include additional stockings of Gila trout to augment the population, monitoring, and habitat restoration/improvement projects.
