Boneyard Creek (Upper Black River) COA

The Boneyard Creek COA is managed primarily for self-sustaining populations of native aquatic species. The lower portion is listed as critical habitat for loach minnow and will also be managed for speckled dace, desert sucker, Sonora sucker, and roundtail chub. In addition, endemic Three Forks springsnails and California floaters are extant in this system in their overall limited range. Boneyard Creek will secondarily be managed in the headwaters as a feature-species coldwater sportfishery for wild brook trout. A quality brown trout sportfishery is also present in the lower portion of Boneyard Creek.
