Ash Creek (Salt River Draw-Salt River) COA

Ash Creek is primarily managed for self-sustaining populations of roundtail chub with a secondary emphasis on other native fish species, including longfin dace, speckled dace, Sonora sucker, and desert sucker. Only native fish are present in Ash Creek and it is protected from downstream populations of non-native fish by multiple natural barriers. The native fish population is monitored periodically.
