Arnett Creek (Upper Queen Creek) COA

The Arnett Creek Management Unit is primarily managed for self-sustaining populations of longfin dace and Gila topminnow. Gila topminnow were stocked into Telegraph Canyon to establish a population there. This COA will also be managed for continued self-sustaining populations of lowland leopard frogs. Telegraph Canyon is a tributary to Arnett Creek and is also occupied by longfin dace and shares the same management objectives. Monitoring of the topminnow population in Telegraph Canyon and Arnett Creek will occur annually until the population is established. The topminnow population will be augmented with additional fish as necessary.
